How To Destroy America

I don't know the exact date for this; I saw it for the first time quite a while ago--at least two years. Not that this matters. Everything in Governor Lamm's remarks rings true. When will we have had enough of the cult of diversity?

This edition comes courtesy of Al Hafer of the South Carolina Constitution Party.

We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, D.C. filled to capacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, Mexifornia, explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.'" Here is how they do it." Lamm said:

"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: "The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy." Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."

Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds."

Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: "The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together." Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass , unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population."

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum" -- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum' we will balkanize America as surely as Kosovo."

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits; make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: 'That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good.' I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was procedding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America - take note of California and other states - to date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

Demonstrator says police used excessive force to arrest him

"This is the same type flag, plastic with a plastic Eagle on top and there's nothing dangerous about this," Teddy Mitchell says. "My little grandson can bend this."

MORRISTOWN (WATE) -- The disabled veteran who says police used excessive force to arrest him during an anti-immigration rally in Hamblen County now faces formal charges and another court date.

Sixty-one-year-old Teddy Mitchell was formally charged in court Monday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was trying to carry a flag onto courthouse grounds when officers took him into custody.

Mitchell claims officers used excessive force when they handcuffed and tasered him. He says he fell against these bushes when he was arrested after a brief struggle.

As amateur video of Mitchell's arrest plays, he says, "I said, 'You telling me I can't take the American flag in there?' He says, 'I'm telling you that.' I said, 'Can I take a Mexican flag in there?' About that time, they jumped me."

The arrest was caught on tape by a rally organizer, turning what was supposed to be a peaceful rally against illegal immigration into a fight for their own First Amendment rights.

Mitchell says he came to show support but wound up in jail instead. "To this day, no police officer has told me I was under arrest. No police officer has told me anything."

A Highway Patrol spokesperson tells 6 News officers could not allow Mitchell to carry the flagpole into the rally because it was too sharp.

"I say that's silly," Mitchell says. "This is the same type flag, plastic with a plastic Eagle on top and there's nothing dangerous about this. My little grandson can bend this."

In pictures of Mitchell's back, he says the faint red marks you can see were caused when an officer tasered him. "I've got holes in my back. It all happened so fast. I couldn't handle them four men, four young men."

6 News spoke to a Morristown Police Department spokeswoman. She says they have reason to believe a taser was used during the incident.

Any time an officer uses force, a higher chain of command at the police department reviews the incident. The department plans to interview all the officers involved.

Mitchell was arraigned in court Monday. His next court date is set for July 19.

He tells 6 News he plans to pursue legal action against the Morristown Police Department.

Rally against illegal immigration ends with arrest and chaos in Hamblen Co.

MORRISTOWN (WATE) -- A rally that was supposed to be peaceful ended with chaos Saturday afternoon outside the Hamblen County courthouse.

Things got testy for a while as police tried to stop a disabled veteran from carrying an American flag onto courthouse grounds.

Teddy Mitchell, 62, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Police say the flag pole he carried was too sharp and they did not want him to take it onto courthouse grounds.

Organizers of the group Citizens for Legal Immigration say they had received permission to peacefully take a stand against illegal immigrants. They say they were surprised to see the overwhelming police presence when they arrived.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson, Lt. Glenn Cantwell, told 6 News troopers were prepared for the worst.

"You never know who may show up to these things," he said.

Authorities had received word that the Tennessee Minutemen and Ku Klux Klan members might show up to protest. Morristown Police Chief Roger Overholt asked THP to assist.

Lt. Cantwell says there were about 80 armed officers at the scene. They included officers from Morristown, a police SWAT team, Hamblen County deputies, THP officers, and a police helicopter.

Officers barricaded public parking lots around the courthouse.

Rally organizers say the show of force was intimidating. They tried to go on with their scheduled speeches, but said their public address system was not working because they had no electricity.

Organizer Audrey Lowe told 6 News the city and county violated the group's First Amendment rights. "One hundred percent violated," she said. "Our freedom of speech was violated. Our freedom of peaceful assembly was violated. Our freedom to fly our flag, the U.S. flag, on the public courthouse lawn was violated today-- big time."

Rally organizers moved to the VFW building on Highway 11E to continue their protest. They say they did not feel welcome outside the courthouse.

At least one rally organizer now plans to file a federal lawsuit against the city and county.

Hamblen County commissioner Tom Lowe says the action police took was a violation of the group's First Amendment rights.

"I am 95 percent sure that I and other members of the group, we'll all file a federal lawsuit against the city and the county and anybody else involved in shutting us down," Lowe said.

Mitchell, the man who was arrested, posted a $3,000 bond and has been released from jail.

9/11 Conspiracy Theorists in L.A.

With the U.S. slowly turning into a surveillance police state at the domestic level, our borders being eroded and the New World Order emerging all around us--surely there are grounds for doubting the "official" story of the 9/11 attacks. This is especially true since at least some specifics of the growing surveillance police state--National ID, for example--were explicitly repudiated back in the late 1990s. Now, the average American will swallow amny piece of government / corporate propaganda if told it will make him safer from terrorism. Knowing how Hegelian dialectic is frequently used by those in power to obtain more power by manufacturing crises to get specific reactions and bring about specific responses, surely there are grounds for at least hearing the "conspiracy theorists" out.

One observation on the article below: Charlie Sheen created a "media storm"? Aside from articles on the Internet (some of them reproduced on this illustrious Blog ;-)), all I recall is complete silence, even from the (admittedly also corporation controlled) entertainment media.

Sunday June 25, 11:11 PM
9/11 conspiracy theorists gather at LA conference

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - They wore T-shirts asking "What Really Happened?," snapped up DVDs titled "9/11; The Great Illusion," and cheered as physicists, philosophers and terrorism experts decried the official version of the Sept. 11 attacks that shook America to its core.

Some 1,200 people gathered at a Los Angeles hotel on the weekend for what organizers billed as the largest conference on the plethora of conspiracy theories that see the 2001 attacks on Washington and New York as, at best, official negligence, and at worst an orchestrated U.S. attempt to incite world war.

"There are so many prominent people who are incredibly well-respected who have stated that the evidence is overwhelming that 9/11 was an inside job," syndicated radio talk show host Alex Jones told a news conference.

"There are hundreds of smoking guns that people need to be made aware of," said Jones, calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and charging that mainstream media had been slow to cover the growing movement of 9/11 skeptics.

The "9/11 and the Neo-Con Agenda" conference comprised two days of seminars, video presentations and talks by groups including "Scholars for 9/11 Truth," and an appearance by actor Charlie Sheen.

Most are convinced the U.S. military command "stood down" on the day of the attack, that the hijackers were trained at American military bases, and that the World Trade Center towers collapsed because of a series of controlled explosions set before they were hit by two hijacked planes.

Suggested motives range from expected benefits for U.S. arms and oil conglomerates to revolutionary plans for a new world order headed by the United States.

The theories, derided by critics as wild and far-fetched, have mostly been confined to the Internet, talk radio and the alternative press.

But an August 2004 Zogby opinion poll revealed 49 percent of New York City residents believed U.S. leaders knew in advance of the attacks and failed to act.

The official 9/11 Commission, set up in 2002, cited government intelligence lapses in the failure to prevent the attacks by al Qaeda that killed about 3,000 people.

A 10,000-page investigation by the National Institute of Standards and Technology held that jet-fuel fires weakened the structure of the Twin Towers and led to their collapse.

Sheen, star of the TV sitcom "Two and a Half Men," provoked a media storm in March by calling in interviews for an independent investigation.

Sheen "brings the movement some legitimacy. He gives it a face," said a Los Angeles student attending the conference who gave his name as Rico.

"Rational, well-educated people are starting to take a look at all this and are seeing there are some pretty bad things happening," Rico added.

Webster Tarpley, author of "911 Synthetic Terror; Made in USA," said the Sept. 11 attacks were an example of "state-sponsored, false-flag terrorism" designed by rogue CIA elements "to start the war of civilizations."

Tarpley said Washington was "gripped by war psychosis" and had used terror as a pretext to turn the United States into a police state.

Big Pharma Is Milking Us All

In the emerging New World Order there is intended to be a pill for every possible human discomfort. Most of these pills will keep us in a state of permanent unhealth--although functional enough to work in our cubicles, of course. And they will reap continued windfalls for the multibillion dollar pharmaceutical industry--also known as Big Pharma.

FREEDOM FEED: You are a consumer aphid being milked by BIG PHRAMA

This one was sent in by Ed.

As an antidote to this malarkey I recommend this book from a "former" contributor to the Wall Street Journal. I believe that Mr. Fitzgerald is "former", as would be most honest people, because he smelt a rat at that organization:

You truly are considered nothing more than a consumer aphid to Big Pharma nowadays.

Something to be "milked" and kept in a state of unhealthy stasis.

Big Pharma is developing drugs for the most distressing disease of all: Life

Let's get to the raw truth about the pharmaceutical industry. Drug companies want to turn every normal human experience into a diagnosable disease that's treatable with their high-priced, patent-protected, brand-name drugs. It used to be that drugs were intended just to treat bonafide diseases -- things like malaria or infections -- but now the drug companies have realized that it's a much more profitable venture to invent diseases, and then sell drugs to treat them.

So today, we have drugs to help you do everything a normal, healthy human being can manage on their own in the first place. We have drugs to make you sleep and other drugs to make you wake up. We have drugs to calm you down if you're hyperactive and drugs to make you feel peppy if you're depressed. We have drugs to make you pee, drugs to force a bowel movement and yet more drugs to "enhance sexual performance." Just in case you're feeling a little bit nervous about some of this language, don't worry, there's a drug for that, too. It makes you feel calm when you might normally feel uncomfortable. In fact, no human experience is safe from being targeted and exploited by the pharmaceutical industry.

What's the ultimate aim of drug companies? It's quite simple. Just as Morpheus described in the movie "The Matrix," the purpose of the machines is to turn the human body into a battery. In modern medicine, the aim of drug companies is to turn the human body into a profit-generating machine. It's designed to exploit your body for financial gain. It's pure greed. There is no normal human condition that is safe from disease designation.

Since drugs are now widely used to treat mental states or emotions, it's not too far off that we'll have drugs to treat so-called diseases like "lack of patriotism." If you don't support the war efforts of the United States empire, then obviously you're not a patriot. You must be a traitor, and therefore there must be something mentally wrong with you. You need to be put on prescription drugs to treat that lack of patriotism. Call it the patriot drug.

Or maybe you have a problem with authority. Maybe you don't trust the media. Maybe you don't trust doctors or elected officials. Maybe you don't trust the FDA. Well, obviously there's something wrong with you. You have a problem with authority. Maybe it's obsessive disobedience disorder -- ODD. I'm sure they can come up with a drug for that, too, and they can probably find some psychiatric doctors who will tell a judge that, yes, you are diseased, and you need to be forcibly medicated for your own good.

Being human is now a disease, too
The real lie from the drug industry is that it's not okay to be human anymore. It's wrong to feel sad. Humans shouldn't ever cry, be depressed or feel down. If you have a sleepless night, there's something wrong with you. It's now a disease, not just a sleepless night.

Consumers buy into this, too. They think that every waking moment should feel wonderful. They think that they have to feel happy, uplifted and energetic at every moment, with no pain whatsoever, all with no effort on their part. God forbid they actually have to get off a couch, break a sweat or move their body to experience some health benefits. They are now convinced that that's the job of drug companies -- that if there's anything that doesn't feel completely comfortable, it's because they don't have the right chemicals in their bloodstream. This view is supported by the psychiatric community and the traditional medical community -- what I call organized medicine -- which continues to search for yet more synthetic chemicals to put into your bloodstream to treat or "manage" every disease, malady, disorder or discomfort that can be dreamed or imagined.

Consumers have been taught to think their foods should be a carnival ride, and that bland food equals bad food
From the point of view of consumers, much of the same beliefs are carried into the foods they consume. Consumers have been taught to think that every meal has to be a feast; that everything they put into their mouth has to be amusing, delightful or absolutely delicious. They won't even eat things that are good for them if they taste too bland.

Everything has to be like a carnival ride when it comes to food, and thus every single meal they eat is basically just dessert. The pizza sauce in pizza is loaded with sugar. Cornbread at a restaurant, which 20 years ago used to be cornbread, is now cake. Bagels are cake, and breads are sweetened up to taste like cake as well. Foods are enhanced with excitotoxins and chemical taste enhancers like monosodium glutamate so that nothing tastes like it really should.

Everything has been exaggerated to create this sensory explosion in the mouth of consumers, so consumers live a life in which they can't taste anything unless it's been chemically altered. And they can't function from one day to the next unless they've been chemically doped up with psychotropic drugs and blood-chemistry-altering chemicals sold to them at prices so high that our entire national economy is now headed toward bankruptcy due to healthcare costs.

I have news for these consumers, and I have news for everyone out there considering taking drugs to treat some symptom, disorder or discomfort. The news is that even healthy people have bad days sometimes. Life is not a giant party. Sometimes you don't feel like waking up. Sometimes your muscles ache because you've overworked them or you've eaten some bad food. Sometimes you get sick, but your immune system eventually overcomes it. Sometimes you feel a little down. This is normal.

Sometimes you're afraid to speak in front of crowds or you feel anxiety in social situations. This is normal human behavior, folks. Sometimes you feel like you have 12 projects going and you can't concentrate on any one of them. That's not attention deficit disorder; that's normal human behavior. In fact, it's how children learn. They don't focus on one thing; they do multiple things at once.

My message to those of you out who might be taking prescription drugs in the desperate effort to create this perfect, comfortable daily existence is this: Your expectations are way off base. There is no perfect human experience, not even in those who you might think are in perfect health.

The difference between people who are healthy and those who are not is not that we don't feel pain or don't feel inconvenienced in doing the things we do to stay healthy. The difference is that we are willing to do them anyway . In other words, we will feel the pain and still exercise. We feel tired but still get out of bed. We might not like the taste of some supplement, fiber shake or bland-tasting food, but we'll eat it anyway because we're willing to do what it takes to get the results. The results are lifelong health without prescription drugs, with zero medical bills, free of pain and free of chronic disease.

But that's not what Big Pharma wants you to believe.

Big Pharma's big lie: If you pump enough chemicals into your body, your life will be perfect
The whole promise of the drug industry is fraudulent. The promise is that if you take all these chemicals, you'll have healthy cholesterol, normal blood pressure levels, you'll never be nervous in social situations, you won't be depressed, you'll be happy all the time, you'll be able to have a bowel movement when you need one, you'll be able to pee when you have to and you'll be able to get an erection when you want one. You'll be able to be this superhuman being just by taking all these chemicals -- that's the promise of the drug industry.

These are empty promises, because any person who is on such drugs is a health wreck. They are very likely numb to the world because their senses have been shut down by these drugs. They probably have hundreds of different side effects metabolizing in their bodies as a result of these drugs. They don't have good energy, and they don't have good, healthy blood chemistry. They are basically just patching one symptom after another with these synthetic chemicals. That is not the pathway to health, and yet that's the empty promise of the pharmaceutical industry.

Disease mongering for business success!
Do you realize the pharmaceutical industry can only continue to grow by inventing new diseases and by redefining existing ones so that more and more people are now labeled diseased? That's the only way the industry can get bigger: By selling more drugs to the same population. The population is not getting any larger around here, so how does the pharmaceutical company make more money? It's easy -- it just invents more conditions.

It tries to get you on more and more pills. Drug marketing executives would like every person in this country, from the moment they're born to the moment they die, to be on at least 15 to 20 different daily pharmaceuticals. I have a question for you about this: If our bodies actually needed such chemicals to be alive and healthy and to live from the moment we're born to the day we die, don't you think that God or nature would have put those chemicals in our bodies in the first place? Don't you think our ancestors would have had some mechanism by which these chemicals could have been created in their own bodies?

There's no fundamental need for pharmaceuticals. The human body has no innate need for these chemicals. There is no normal, healthy human being who needs any pharmaceuticals whatsoever. Drug marketing is nothing but an effort to turn your body into a profit machine; to exploit your health, your pain, your suffering and your checkbook for companies who are paying their CEOs $134 million a year plus $120 million in stock option bonuses. They claim they're putting their money into research to help find tomorrow's cures, but that's hogwash. What they're trying to find is tomorrow's new diseases, which they can invent and then treat with more prescription drugs.

Can you name one disease that any pharmaceutical company has ever cured? Just one? There are none. There are no diseases that have been cured by pharmaceutical companies. Yet people continue to be gullible and buy into this fraudulent industry that claims if it just had a few more billion dollars and a few more years, it could cure all diseases.

So what might their cure be? Do you think it is going to be free? If drug companies do find the cure, will they distribute it for free, just to help free people from disease? Of course not. If they find a cure, they're going to charge you for it . Their research into finding a cure is their financial overhead. That's their investment in finding some drug, and it's not your responsibility to pay for their research.

The fact is you're paying for their research anyway. Most people don't know this, but the vast majority of new drugs approved by the FDA are based on research that's been funded by taxpayers, not by drug companies. So you're paying for the research anyway, and you're paying for it again when you buy prescription drugs, and you're paying for it yet again when you have to pay for the side effects caused by these prescription drugs. You're actually paying for these drugs three times, yet they do nothing to improve your health for the long term. Yes, they may mask one symptom for as long as you keep taking the pill. They can effectively lower one measurable chemical milestone such as LDL cholesterol or blood pressure, or they can mask the symptoms of arthritis pain temporarily. But none of them actually reverses any disease; they never address the underlying cause. They never help patients heal. In fact, they do patients a disservice by denying them the opportunity to heal themselves.

Drug companies invent diseases and expand on pre-existing ones to turn people into profit machines
Remember, the purpose of the drug industry today is actually to turn the human body into a profit machine. The way to do that is to expand the number of diseases that exist by attaching a pathological definition to every normal human behavior imaginable. Someday, daydreaming will probably be called a disease. Every undesirable moment of daily life will be called a disease. Have a fear of heights? Well, that could be a disease. Have trouble swimming? They could call that a disease, too. Does your skin attract mosquitoes? Well, certainly you should be taking a pharmaceutical that distributes a poison throughout your entire body and wards off mosquitoes. That's what they do for dogs with pills that prevent ticks and fleas. You feed your dog poison, and the poison circulates throughout that dog's entire body and ends up in the skin where it poisons parasites.

You see, they can come up with drugs for practically anything, but the truth is that these are not diseases. You don't need these drugs, and day-to-day life, even for healthy people, is not a 100 percent perfect experience. It's life, folks. Things happen. Get used to it, and get healthy anyway. There are speed bumps, there are potholes, but so what? No one ever got healthy by sitting around on the couch, waiting for drug companies to cure all their ailments. It won't happen, not in our lifetime, or anyone else's.

If you want to be healthy, take responsibility for your health today. Just say no to pharmaceuticals, and say yes to a healthy diet, healthy lifestyle and nutrition, while avoiding the foods and products that actually promote chronic disease. Say yes to your naturopath and say no to your MD. Fire your doctor, and hire a true healer instead. Above all, don't let any drug company, doctor or government regulatory body tell you that you are diseased because you happen to have a human emotion or a human thought or an off day that isn't 100 percent comfortable. That's not a disease -- that's life. Don't let drug companies convince you that life is a disease.

Turning All the Politically Incorrect Into Criminals

Ayn Rand said it best: "There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws." (Atlas Shrugged)

Question: how long before people who put up blogs like this one, or routinely publish articles attempting to expose the various facets of the emerging New World Order, are targeted by the Regime and taken down?

Feds Would Make Every Citizen a Criminal

There’s only one reason for having tens of thousands of laws on the books. The government wants to be able to use these laws to punish political opponents.

When the Indonesian dictator Suharto wanted to put an opponent in jail, he simply had his version of the IRS determine if the targeted individual had failed to obey every single tax law on their books. Odds were that the political dissident had missed one of the thousands of laws and regulations, and another political opponent was sent to jail without the stigma of admitting that there were politicial prisoners.

Both Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton had political opponents audited by the IRS as a form of intimidation. Clinton systematically targeted right wing political organizations for audits while NOT ONE leftist political organization was audited while he was president.

Randy Weaver was the victim of federal oppression using an obscure law that most folks have never heard of. The Feds hired an informant to try to entrap Mr. Weaver. This operation went on for an entire year. Eventually the informant talked Weaver into shortening the barrel of a gun one quarter inch shorter than federal firearms laws allow. Weaver was dragged into the system after being entrapped by this informant. The Feds sent a team of heavily armed thugs to apprehend Randy, who killed his son. Later during a siege, an FBI sniper, Lon Horiuchi murdered Randy Weaver’s wife, Vicki. The Feds didn’t like the way Randy Weaver thought and they deliberately went after him. How long before they start targeting people like us?

With the universal, computer monitoring of phone conversations, the Feds will increasingly be able to target anyone who harbors politically incorrect thoughts. (I’m hoping that the Feds discover HUGE numbers of closet racists and anti-Semites -not affiliated with any organizations- with their new found spying methods.)

We have to be vigilant against any erosion of freedom such as the recent announcement that police can break into our homes without announcing themselves first. While these laws may first be used against drug dealers, it’s only a matter of time before a corrupt mayor, governor or president will use these tactics against anyone who is attacking his policies or exposing his lies. Any change that allows police to kick down doors unannounced or to listen in on our cell phones without warrants should be fought relentlessly.

It’s not sufficient that you’re obeying all the laws right now. Your state could outlaw certain types of guns turning you into a “criminal” overnight. It may be a crime in your state if you refuse to hire a babysitter, who’s homosexual. People have been tracked down for buying Indian cigarettes online for taxes. In short our government is the problem. Sooner or later they will turn you into a criminal by passing laws against everything and they’ll decide to prosecute you if you say anything politically incorrect.

Being Politically Incorrect

A Demand To the Government From Scholars For 9/11 Truth

I recently read of a poll (Zogby?) stating that some 42 percent of those polled stated they had doubts that the Federal Government has told the American public the truth about the Sept. 11 attacks. Scholars For 9/11 Truth includes physicists, philosophers, and other reputable scholars who are also calling on the Government to come clean. The Government can begin by releasing the "classified" materials listed in this statement.

We the Scholars for 9/11 Truth, a society of faculty, students, and experts dedicated to discovering the truth - and exposing falsehoods - about the events and circumstances of the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington, bring to the attention of the US Congress and, as witnesses, the international community in Washington and New York as well as other organizations and individuals, the recent attainment of more than 10,000 signatures in support of our petition calling upon the US Government to release certain evidence pertaining to 9/11. Such evidence, as set forth in the 12 categories of the petition, would tend to show the official account of 9/11 as either true or false. That the US Government has not already released this evidence of its own accord has raised legitimate concerns and suspicions in the minds of many thoughtful American citizens. Such lack of forthrightness and accountability on the part of the Bush Administration strongly suggests motives to hide the truth. Such obsession with secrecy is not in keeping with truly representative government. Wherefore, we the Scholars for 9/11 Truth call upon each member of the US Congress to confront a very clear choice: demand the release of crucial 9/11 evidence or defer to the very powers that benefit corruptly from its concealment and even destruction. We believe that your loyalty to the republic and your solemn pledges to support and defend our Constitution will convince you of the right choice, to act to release evidence enumerated in the following petition.

On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the Undersigned Scholars for 9/11 Truth Hereby Petitions for, and hereby demands, Release of the Following kinds of documents, video and films, and physical evidence to the public for study by experts and scholars investigating the events of 9/11:

1. Immediate release of the full Pentagon surveillance tapes, of which five frames (only) have been released via the official ASCE report, as Judicial Watch has also requested. We further demand release of the video tape seized by FBI agents minutes after the Pentagon hit, from the fuel service station near the Pentagon, as well as any other videotape which shows the 9/11 strike on the Pentagon.

2. Immediate release of 6,899 photographs and 6,977 segments of video footage held by NIST, largely from private photographers, regarding the collapses of WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 (NIST, 2005, p. 81). In particular, all footage relating to the collapse of WTC 7 (including shots before, during and after the collapse) must be released immediately, without waiting for the NIST report on WTC 7, which is long overdue and may be prolonged indefinitely.

3. An explanation from Vice President Richard Cheney regarding the "orders" described by Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta in his testimony before The 9/11 Commission. Secretary Mineta stated that while in an underground bunker at the White House, he watched Vice President Cheney castigate a young officer for asking, as a plane drew closer and closer to the Pentagon, "Do the orders still stand?" The officer should be identified and allowed to testify at a deposition under oath.

4. The documents generated by Vice President Cheney's energy task force have been kept from the public. A court case brought forth a few maps that display oil fields in the Middle East. We hereby put Congress on notice that there is probable cause with regard to criminal activities by the Cheney Energy Task Force involving a criminal conspiracy to launch illegal wars and/or terrorist activities. We therefore demand that Energy Task Force document that comprise, discuss, or refer to plans to invade the Middle East, including Iran, and Venezuela or other sovereign nations be released immediately. See Cheney v. District Court 542 U.S. 367 (2004) and United States v. Nixon 418 U.S. 683 (1974). See

5. Audio tapes of interviews with air traffic controllers on-duty on 9/11 were intentionally destroyed by crushing the cassette by hand, cutting the tape into little pieces, and then dropping the pieces in different trash cans around the building. We demand an explanation for this destruction of evidence and ask that the possible existence of other copies of such tapes or perhaps of written transcripts of the interviews be pursued. All air traffic controllers on-duty on 9/11 should be allowed to testify during a public forum under oath.

6. The Secret Service, which is highly trained to protect the President from danger and to move him to a secure location in the event of a threat, breached its own standard procedures by allowing President Bush to remain at a public location for 25 minutes after it was known that the nation was under attack. All Secret Service personnel who were at Booker Elementary School with President Bush on 9/11 should be required to testify in public and under oath about these events.

7. On the morning of 9/11, some five "war games" or "terror drills" were being conducted by U.S. defense agencies, including one "live fly" exercise employing aircraft. These drills reportedly included the injection of false radar blips onto the screens of air traffic controllers. In addition, the government was running a simulation of a plane crashing into a building the morning of 9/11. Who was in charge of coordinating these war games and terror drills? Who had the ability to issues orders in relation to their conduct? On which screens were "false radar blips" inserted? When did such false injects commence? When were they purged from the controllers' screens? What was the effect of these activities on standard procedures for interdicting hijacked aircraft?
See (6 minutes, 12 seconds into the

8. It has been reported that the FBI long ago found three of four "black boxes" from the two airplanes which hit the Twin Towers, yet has consistently denied that they were ever found. Their data would be of the greatest importance to understanding the events of 9/11. This matter must be investigated and the data they provide released to the public.

For each of the four sites under investigation, the 9/11 Commission reported that two Boeing 757s, and two Boeing 767s (FAA, Part 121, airliners) owned by United Airlines and American Airlines were hijacked by novice pilots and were subsequently crashed, resulting in an unimaginable loss of life. Approximately 3,000 people died the morning of 9/11 as the direct result of these officially reported hijackings and subsequent crashes. These four scheduled airliners were reported to have carried a total of 266 passengers and crew members, which, under FAA and NTSB regulations, demands a comprehensive investigation of the primary and contributing causes of each. In the case of suspected criminal foul play, the NTSB would normally assign the lead investigative role to the FBI, with assistance of investigators from the NTSB and FAA. A comprehensive investigation of each aircraft crash is not a regulatory option: they would have been mandatory. Therefore, we demand public release of each comprehensive crash investigation report, including access to all physical evidence that was required to have been collected and secured at a suitable facility. Such evidence should have included a large assortment of indestructible parts, including landing gears, surface actuators, engines, black boxes, and so on. The serialized parts would be invaluable in identifying each aircraft and, contrary to some reports, could not have "vaporized" upon impact. Considering the enormous loss of life and financial collateral damage, if no crash investigations were conducted, who made the decision to disregard the FAA, Part 121, regulatory requirement? In the absence of the Part 121 investigation reports, the identity of the responsible authorities who made the decision not to investigate must be released, and they should be made immediately available for deposition under oath.

9. In the weeks before 9/11, the US Stock market showed rather high levels of activity on companies that would subsequently be affected by the attacks. The afternoon before the attack, alarm bells were sounding over trading patterns in stock options. A jump in United Air Lines some 90 times (not 90 percent) above normal between September 6 and September 10, for example, and 285 times higher than average the Thursday before the attack, have been reported. A jump in American Airlines put options 60 times (not 60 percent) above normal the day before the attacks has also been reported. No similar trading occurred on any other airlines appear to have occurred. Between September 6-10, 2001, the Chicago Board Options Exchange saw suspicious trading on Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, two of the largest WTC tenants. An average of 3,053 put options in Merrill Lynch were bought between Sept. 6-10, compared to an average of 252 in the previous week. Merrill Lynch, another WTC tenant, saw 12,215 put options bought between Sept. 7-10, whereas the previous days had seen averages of 212 contracts a day. According to Dylan Ratigan of Bloomberg News: "This would be the most extraordinary coincidence in the history of mankind, if it was a coincidence. This could very well be insider trading at the worst, most horrific, most evil use you've ever seen in your entire life. It's absolutely unprecedented." On September 18, 2001, the BBC reported: "American authorities are investigating unusually large numbers of shares in airlines, insurance companies and arms manufacturers that were sold off in the days and weeks before the attacks. They believe that the sales were by people who knew about the impending disaster". According to the London Independent, October 10, 2001: "To the embarrassment of investigators, it has also emerged that the firm used to buy many of the 'put' optionswhere a trader, in effect, bets on a share price fallon United Airlines stock was headed until 1998 by 'Buzzy' Krongard, now executive director of the CIA."

The 9/11 Commission, after looking into the pre-9/11 stock trades, never denied their unusual nature. Instead, the Commission declared that al-Qaeda did not conduct the trades, and asked no further questions.
Who, if not al-Qaeda, performed the incriminating trades? This information exists, it can be easily obtained, and it needs to be made public. Moreover, illegal money transfers may have been processed through computers housed at the World Trade Center shortly before planes crashed into the Twin Towers on 9/11. We demand a disclosure of the source of the put options and that this whole sordid affair receive a complete and public investigation.

10. Eyewitness testimony and a substantiating photographic record suggest that a large sample of slag from the World Trade Center is being held at Hangar 17 of the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Access to the slag sample should be made available to appropriate physicists in order to conduct non-destructive X-ray Fluorescence tests and other forms of examination, which should reveal evidence of the cause of the collapse of the Twin Towers. Based on these tests, we further demand two small samples (about the size of a fist) be extracted from this large piece for further scientific analysis.

11. Release of a complete inventory of the plane wreckage and debris from flights 11, 77, 93 or 175 or any other aircraft that crashed or was destroyed on September 11, 2001, including, but not limited to:
(a) the location (whether warehouses or otherwise) of all such items;
(b) a catalog of photographs and videotapes taken of any and all such items; and
(c) a list of all tests and examinations concerning any and all such items, including reports of such tests or examinations.

12. Release of a complete inventory of any steel, other metal or other material from the World Trade Centers, including, but not limited to:
(a) the location (whether warehouses or otherwise) of all such items;
(b) a catalog of photographs and videotapes taken of any and all such items; and
(c) a list of all tests and examinations concerning any and all such items, including reports of such tests or examinations.

On behalf of the People of the United States of America, we demand that the cover-up in this case end and that the kinds of documents, video and films, and physical evidence described above be provided to the public for experts and scholars to evaluate and assess in their efforts to expose falsehoods and reveal truths about events on 9/11.

Middle Class Neighborhoods Are Disappearing

Signs of a 'booming economy'? I don't think so. Signs of increased class-based segregation of the New World Order's cannon fodder. Jobless claims are also up.

U.S. losing its middle-class neighborhoods
Metro areas show widening gap between rich and poor sections

INDIANAPOLIS - Middle-class neighborhoods, long regarded as incubators for the American dream, are losing ground in cities across the country, shrinking at more than twice the rate of the middle class itself.

In their place, poor and rich neighborhoods are both on the rise, as cities and suburbs have become increasingly segregated by income, according to a Brookings Institution study released today. It found that as a share of all urban and suburban neighborhoods, middle-income neighborhoods in the nation's 100 largest metro areas have declined from 58 percent in 1970 to 41 percent in 2000.

Widening income inequality in the United States has been well documented in recent years, but the Brookings analysis of census data uncovered a much more accelerated decline in communities that house the middle class. It far outpaced the seven percentage-point decline between 1970 and 2000 in the proportion of middle-income families living in and around cities.

Middle-income neighborhoods -- where families earn 80 to 120 percent of the local median income -- have plunged by more than 20 percent as a share of all neighborhoods in Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. They are down 10 percent in the Washington area.

It's happening, too, in this prosperous, mostly white middle-income Midwestern city where unemployment is low and a vibrant downtown has been preserved. As poor and rich neighborhoods proliferate, the share of middle-income neighborhoods in greater Indianapolis has dropped by 21 percent since 1970.

"No city in America has gotten more integrated by income in the last 30 years," said Alan Berube, an urban demographer at Brookings who worked on the report.

"It means that if you are not living in one of the well-off areas, you are not going to have access to the same amenities -- good schools and safe environment -- that you could find 30 years ago," he said.

More mobility
The decline of middle-income neighborhoods may also be a consequence of increased economic opportunity and residential mobility, especially for upper-income minorities, said Joel Kotkin, an urban historian and senior fellow at the New America Foundation.

"This is about upward mobility and class. Until the 1970s, middle-class blacks and other minorities often had little choice about where they could live," said Kotkin, the author of The City: A Global History. He added: "They usually had to live close to lower-income people of their own race. Now, if they can afford it, they can move to higher-income neighborhoods. Dollars trump race. Many choose not to live around poor people."

The Brookings study says that much more research is needed to better understand why middle-income neighborhoods are vanishing faster than middle-income families. But it speculates that a sorting-out process is underway in the nation's suburbs and inner cities, with many previously middle-income neighborhoods now tipping rich or poor.

Several urban scholars who had no role in the Brookings study said that its findings are consistent with what they have seen in cities from Los Angeles to Cleveland, as the middle class hollows out and as an economic chasm widens between rich and poor neighborhoods.

"We are increasingly being bifurcated on an economic basis," said Paul Ong, a professor of public affairs at the University of California at Los Angeles. "It has taken a big chunk out of the middle."

In Los Angeles -- the most hollowed-out metropolitan area in the country over the past three decades -- the share of poor neighborhoods is up 10 percent, rich neighborhoods are up 14 percent and middle-income areas are down by 24 percent.

The Brookings study says that increased residential segregation by income can remove a fundamental rung from the nation's ladder for social mobility: moderate-income neighborhoods with decent schools, nearby jobs, low crime and reliable services.

Alice McCray used to live in just that kind of neighborhood, a postwar suburb on the far east side of Indianapolis. She has not moved since 1971. It's the middle-class character of her neighborhood that has moved away and left her three-bedroom ranch house behind. With higher-income residents gone, McCray's neighborhood has tipped poor in the past decade. A third of the incoming population lives below the poverty line. Crime is up, and schools have deteriorated.

"I had nine block captains on our neighborhood watch group, and seven of them have moved, said McCray, 61, who owns a cleaning business. "They said they were not going to put up with this."

Easy escape
For people who do not want to put up with aging, troubled neighborhoods and have the means to do something about it, escape is remarkably easy -- in Indianapolis and across much of the country.

The housing industry in the Midwest and the Northeast routinely floods local markets with new, ever-larger houses. In greater Indianapolis, more than 27,500 houses were constructed between 2000 and 2004, even though the population grew by only 3,000.

In the process, older houses and many older neighborhoods -- such as McCray's -- have become as disposable as used cars.

Such overbuilding is rampant across the Midwest and Northeast, where the number of new houses -- almost always at the edge of metro areas -- swamped the number of new households by more than 30 percent between 1980 and 2000, according to a study co-written by Thomas Bier, executive in residence at the Center for Housing Research and Policy at Cleveland State University.

"As upper-income Americans are drawn to the new houses, neighborhoods become more homogenous," he said. Echoing the Brookings study, he said: "The zoning is such that it prevents anything other than a certain income range from living there. It is our latest method of discrimination."

In a pattern that is the mirror opposite of what is happening in the Midwest and Northeast, there is a chronic undersupply of housing in many cities on the West Coast. But it, too, has contributed to a decline of middle-income neighborhoods, said Berube, the Brookings demographer.

He said rapid population growth in cities such as Los Angeles and Seattle combines with rigid geographic and legal restraints on construction to limit housing supply. In Los Angeles, for example, the population grew by 11 percent between 1990 and 2002, but the number of housing units increased by just 5 percent.

That has pushed up the price of housing in mixed-income neighborhoods. Gentrification often pushes the poor away to less-desirable suburbs.

In Indianapolis, it is an abundance of housing that lures the middle class out of established neighborhoods.

Until last month, Jim and Lynn Russell lived with their 1-year-old son, Adam, in a middle-income neighborhood called Irvington on the city's near east side. The area of restored historic houses is 20 minutes by car from downtown, where they both work as bank executives.

‘Logical choice’
But the Russells, who have another baby due in the fall, were worried about mediocre test scores at nearby public schools. They were also concerned about safety. A mass killing -- seven people shot in their home -- took place this month not far from their former house.

"Things like that don't happen in Carmel," said Lynn Russell, 31, who grew up in Indianapolis, as did her husband.

Carmel, where the Russells just bought a house, is not a close-in suburb. About 45 minutes north of downtown at rush hour, it is one of the fastest-growing communities in greater Indianapolis. Schools are among the best in Indiana, and housing is abundant and, by national standards, extremely affordable for professional couples. The Russells bought their four-bedroom house on half an acre for $230,000.

Urban planners complain that exurbs such as Carmel are bleeding cities of the middle class. But Jim Russell said he and his wife have made "the logical choice" by moving to a upper-income neighborhood that is safe, comfortable and better for their growing family.

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

Here is Jerome R. Corsi's latest report. It is good that Corsi is now connecting this agenda with NAFTA. Worth noting is that he has filed a Freedom of Information Act request calling on the identification of all the players in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. We will find out if the FOIA has any teeth in it (some say that it does not except when those in the Federal Government wish to honor it. One thought: if the present-day Supreme Court really is the highest rule of law we have in America, then God help us in any event!).

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

by Jerome R. Corsi
Human Events Online
Posted Jun 19, 2006

The Bush Administration is pushing to create a North American Union out of the work on-going in the Department of Commerce under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in the NAFTA office headed by Geri Word. A key part of the plan is to expand the NAFTA tribunals into a North American Union court system that would have supremacy over all U.S. law, even over the U.S. Supreme Court, in any matter related to the trilateral political and economic integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Right now, Chapter 11 of the NAFTA agreement allows a private NAFTA foreign investor to sue the U.S. government if the investor believes a state or federal law damages the investor’s NAFTA business.

Under Chapter 11, NAFTA establishes a tribunal that conducts a behind closed-doors “trial” to decide the case according to the legal principals established by either the World Bank’s International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes or the UN’s Commission for International Trade Law. If the decision is adverse to the U.S., the NAFTA tribunal can impose its decision as final, trumping U.S. law, even as decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. U.S. laws can be effectively overturned and the NAFTA Chapter 11 tribunal can impose millions or billions of dollars in fines on the U.S. government, to be paid ultimately by the U.S. taxpayer.

On Aug. 9, 2005, a three-member NAFTA tribunal dismissed a $970 million claim filed by Methanex Corp., a Canadian methanol producer challenging California laws that regulate against the gasoline additive MTBE. The additive MTBE was introduced into gasoline to reduce air pollution from motor vehicle emissions. California regulations restricted the use of MTBE after the additive was found to contaminate drinking water and produce a health hazard. Had the case been decided differently, California’s MTBE regulations would have been overturned and U.S. taxpayers forced to pay Methanex millions in damages.

While this case was decided favorably to U.S. laws, we can rest assured that sooner or later a U.S. law will be overruled by the NAFTA Chapter 11 adjudicative procedure, as long as the determinant law adjudicated by the NAFTA Chapter 11 tribunals continues to derive from World Court or UN law. Once a North American Union court structure is in place can almost certainly predict that a 2nd Amendment challenge to the right to bear arms is as inevitable under a North American Union court structure as is a challenge to our 1st Amendment free speech laws. Citizens of both Canada and Mexico cannot freely own firearms. Nor can Canadians or Mexicans speak out freely without worrying about “hate crimes” legislation or other political restrictions on what they may choose to say.

Like it or not, NAFTA Chapter 11 tribunals already empower foreign NAFTA investors and corporations to challenge the sovereignty of U.S. law in the United States. Sen. John Kerry (D.-Mass.) has been quoted as saying, “When we debated NAFTA, not a single word was uttered in discussing Chapter 11. Why? Because we didn’t know how this provision would play out. No one really knew just how high the stakes would get.” Again, we have abundant proof that Congress is unbelievably lax when it comes to something as fundamental as reading or understanding the complex laws our elected legislators typically pass.

Under the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) plan expressed in May 2005 for building NAFTA into a North American Union, the stakes are about to get even higher. A task force report titled “Building a North American Community” was written to provide a blueprint for the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America agreement signed by President Bush in his meeting with President Fox and Canada’s then-Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Tex., on March 23, 2005.

The CFR plan clearly calls for the establishment of a “permanent tribunal for North American dispute resolution” as part of the new regional North American Union (NAU) governmental structure that is proposed to go into place in 2010. As the CFR report details on page 22:

The current NAFTA dispute-resolution process is founded on ad hoc panels that are not capable of building institutional memory or establishing precedent, may be subject to conflicts of interest, and are appointed by authorities who may have an incentive to delay a given proceeding. As demonstrated by the efficiency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) appeal process, a permanent tribunal would likely encourage faster, more consistent and more predictable resolution of disputes. In addition, there is a need to review the workings of NAFTA’s dispute-settlement mechanism to make it more efficient, transparent, and effective.

Robert Pastor of American University, the vice chairman of the CFR task force report, provided much of the intellectual justification for the formation of the North American Union. He has repeatedly argued for the creation of a North American Union “Permanent Tribunal on Trade and Investment.” Pastor understands that a “permanent court would permit the accumulation of precedent and lay the groundwork for North American business law.” Notice, Pastor says nothing about U.S. business law or the U.S. Supreme Court. In the view of the globalists pushing toward the formation of the North American Union, the U.S. is a partisan nation-state whose limitations of economic protectionism and provincial self-interest are outdated and as such must be transcended, even if the price involves sacrificing U.S. national sovereignty.

When it comes to the question of illegal immigrants, Pastor’s solution is to erase our borders with Mexico and Canada so we can issue North American Union passports to all citizens. In his testimony to the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on June 9, 2005, Pastor made this exact argument: “Instead of stopping North Americans on the borders, we ought to provide them with a secure, biometric Border Pass that would ease transit across the border like an E-Z pass permits our cars to speed though toll booths.”

Even Pastor worries about the potential for North American Unions to overturn U.S. laws that he likes. Regarding environmental laws, Pastor’s testimony to the Trilateral Commission in November 2002 was clear on this point: “Some narrowing or clarification of the scope of Chapter 11 panels on foreign investment is also needed to permit the erosion of environmental rules.” Evidently it did not occur to Pastor that the way to achieve the protection he sought was to leave the sovereignty of U.S. and the supremacy of the U.S. Supreme Court intact.

The executive branch under the Bush Administration is quietly putting in place a behind-the-scenes trilateral regulatory scheme, evidently without any direct congressional input, that should provide the rules by which any NAFTA or NAU court would examine when adjudicating NAU trade disputes. The June 2005 report by the SPP working groups organized in the U.S. Department of Commerce, clearly states the goal:

We will develop a trilateral Regulatory Cooperative Framework by 2007 to support and enhance existing, as well as encourage new cooperation among regulators, including at the outset of the regulatory process.

We wonder if the Bush Administration intends to present the Trilateral Regulatory Cooperative Framework now being constructed by to Congress for review in 2007, or will the administration simply continue along the path of knitting together the new NAU regional governmental structure behind closed doors by executive fiat? Ms. Word affirms that the membership of the various SPP working group committees has not been published. Nor have the many memorandums of understanding and other trilateral agreements created by these SPP working groups been published, not even on the Internet.

The Economy Is Booming....

.... especially if you are a wealthy corporatist seeking to run your business empire via government contracts instead of through the free enterprise system! LOL!

Federal contracts up 86% under Bush; Halliburton rises 600%

Published: Monday June 19, 2006

Top contractor Lockheed got contracts larger than budget of Congress, Dept. of Interior

WASHINGTON -- A new report claims that a "shadow government" of federal contractors has exploded in size over the last five years.

The document, compiled at the request of Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) and distributed to RAW STORY, indicates that procurement spending increased by over $175 billion between 2000 and 2005, making federal contracts the fastest growing component of federal discretionary spending.

500 reports, audits and investigations by government and independent bodies, including the Government Accountability Office and the Defense Contract Audit Agency, were used to compile the data.

That spending increase -- an astonishing 86 percent -- puts total US federal procurement at $377.5 billion annually. The increase means spending on federal contracts has grown more than two times as fast as other forms of discretionary government spending.

Nearly $800b in contracts questioned

Waxman claims that overcharging -- by mistake or outright fraud -- has been a frequent occurrance. In all, the report identifies 118 federal contracts worth $745.5 billion that have been found by government officials to include significant waste, fraud, abuse or mismanagement.

Each of the Bush Administration's three signature initiatives -- Homeland Security, the Iraq war and reconstruction in Iraq and Hurricane Katrina recovery -- has been linked to wasteful contract spending.

Spending is categorized in the report as highly concentrated on a few large contractors, with the five largest contractors receiving over 20 percent of contract dollars awarded in 2005. Last year, the largest federal contractor, Lockheed Martin, received contracts worth more than the total combined budgets of the Department of Commerce, the Department of the Interior, the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Congress.

But the fastest growing contractor under the Bush Administration has been Halliburton. Federal spending on Halliburton contracts shot up an astonishing 600% between 2000 and 2005.

Waxman plans to make all 118 "problem contracts" available on the Internet as part of a searchable database with Internet links to government audits.

Iran Update: Paul Craig Roberts on Neocon Warmongers

The neocons are useful idiots, of course. The ongoing war of words against Iran is part of the globalist assault on national sovereignty everywhere--including banking sovereignty (Iran's bank isn't controlled by the House of Rothschild). Useful idiots are, of course, dangerous idiots. A military strike on Iran and its immediate aftermath could cause the "national emergency" that would lead the Bush Regime to declare Martial Law, officially ending what little is left of Constitutionally limited government in the United States of America. Neocon Plot To Nuke Iran Invites Catastrophe
By Paul Craig Roberts

June 11, 2006

Original here.

John Bolton, a notorious neocon warmonger who could not be confirmed as America’s ambassador to the UN by even the compliant and corrupt US Senate, got the job as a recess appointment. He is using the platform to push America into war with Iran.

Bolton told the Financial Times (June 9) that the Bush Regime has no intention of reaching an agreement with Iran. Time is running out for diplomacy, Bolton told the Financial Times. Iran has a short time remaining in which it can give up its right under the non-proliferation treaty to enrich uranium for nuclear energy or be attacked. Bolton said that US security guarantees for Iran "were not on the table."

There is no evidence that Iran has a nuclear weapons program. Every physicist knows that the enrichment requirement for weapons is many times greater than for nuclear energy and that Iran can barely achieve the latter. Despite the facts, Bolton told the Financial Times: "They’ve [Iran] got both feet on the accelerator, which is why we have a sense of urgency. Each day that goes by gives Iran more time to continue to perfect its efforts for mass production."[Bolton rejects ‘grand bargain’ with Iran, By Daniel Dombey, June 9 2006]

Bolton is lying through his teeth. Bush Regime lies about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and propagandistic references to mushroom clouds convinced the befuddled American public to accept an illegal invasion of Iraq. The same collection of neocon war criminals is again deceiving the American public about Iran.

In his remarks to the Financial Times, Bolton shows himself to be extremely disturbed by the prospect that the diplomatic efforts of Europe, Russia, and China
could undermine the Bush Regime’s plan to attack Iran. Bolton is doing everything possible to make certain that there is no diplomatic solution.

To help undermine any prospect for peace in the Middle East, Israeli gunboats shelled a public beach and killed or wounded 50 Palestinians. This was done in order to provoke Hamas into abandoning the long-established cease-fire that Hamas had imposed in the interest of negotiating a Palestinian settlement.

The Israeli government succeeded, and now there will a resurgence of "Hamas terrorism" that Bolton and his neocon compatriots can use to build a frightening
spectacle of Muslim terrorism.

The Bush/Olmert axis-of-evil have made it clear that "we don’t want no stinking peace."

Writing in (June 10), University of California Professor Jorge Hirsch explains the tripwire that the Bush Regime has laid for Iran in order to have an excuse to launch an attack on that country. Just as the Bush Regime planned to attack
Iraq and then orchestrated a case based on lies, the Bush Regime has already planned to attack Iran. Only this time nuclear weapons will be used.

Nuking Iran is an essential part of the attack plan. The US lacks the necessary conventional military force to invade and occupy Iran, but the use of nuclear weapons against Iran has a wider purpose. The neocons are determined not to have any more embarrassments, such as the Iraqi insurgency. By nuking Iran they intend to send a wider message that the US will use every means at its disposal to ensure its hegemony. The neocons believe that the use of nukes will convince Arabs and the wider world that there is no recourse to accepting America’s will.

The neoconservatives could not care less about public opinion. Neocons are contemptuous of the American people. Leo Strauss taught neocons that it was their duty to deceive the clueless American people in order to implement their agenda of global domination. The neocons believe that they have a perfect right, even the obligation, to manipulate the public through propaganda and black ops in order to create acceptance and support for their wars of aggression.

Neocons are the epitome of evil, and they have succumbed to hubris. Like Hitler when he attacked the Soviet Union, neocons believe that their manipulative skills and use of military power will carry the day for their agenda. Hitler’s hubris doomed Germany to destruction. What price will America pay for neocon hubris?

When the neocon Nazis nuke Iran it will revive memories in Japan and break the US-Japanese alliance. Japan owns enough US Treasury bonds to be able to destroy both the US dollar and the market for Washington’s endless red ink. Russia, China, India, and even our European lackeys will have it forcefully brought home to them that the US is an out-of-control rogue nation. They will unify against us. Most likely our bought and paid for puppets in the Middle East will fall, and Islamic leaders will gain Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. Al Qaeda will gain tens of millions of recruits.

Francis Fukuyama’s phrase, "the end of history", takes on new meaning.

The Coming of Corporate Fascism

Indeed, the creation of the Department of Homeland Security following the 9/11 attacks did more than any other single federal government action to put us on a very dangerous road. It scares me to think how far down this road we might have to go before the American sheeple start to wake up--if they wake up. How long before dissident writers start to come to their attention, their blogs and websites are forcibly taken down, and we are all arbitrarily labeled "enemy combatants," a label that can, in principle, be assigned to anyone who doesn't manifest absolute obedience to those in power. A "national emergency," too, can in principle be anything the federal government designates as such.

This story has actually been around for a while, but I missed it earlier and it is worth revisiting.

Halliburton Detention Camps For Political Subversives

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison | February 1 2006

In another shining example of modern day corporate fascism, it was announced recently that Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root had been awarded a $385 million dollar contract by Homeland Security to construct detention and processing facilities in the event of a national emergency.

The language of the preamble to the agreement veils the program with talk of temporary migrant holding centers, but it is made clear that the camps will also be used "as the development of a plan to react to a national emergency."

Discussions of federal concentration camps is no longer the rhetoric of paranoid Internet conspiracy theorists, it is mainstream news.

Under the enemy combatant designation anyone at the behest of the US government, even if they are a US citizen, can be kidnapped and placed in an internment facility forever without trial. Jose Padilla, an American citizen, has spent over four years in a Navy brig and is only just now getting a trial.

In 2002, FEMA sought bids from major real estate and engineering firms to construct giant internment facilities in the case of a chemical, biological or nuclear attack or a natural disaster.

Okanogan County Commissioner Dave Schulz went public three years ago with his contention that his county was set to be a location for one of the camps.

Alex Jones has attended numerous military urban warfare training drills across the US where role players were used to simulate arresting American citizens and taking them to internment camps.

The move towards the database state in the US and the UK, where every offence is arrestable and DNA records of every suspect, even if later proven innocent, are permanently kept on record, is the only tool necessary to create a master list of 'subversives' that would be subject to internment in a manufactured time of national emergency.

The national ID card is also intended to be used for this purpose, just as the Nazis used early IBM computer punch card technology to catalogue lists of homosexuals, gypsies and Jews before the round-ups began.

Section 44 of the Terrorism Act in Britain enables police to obtain name and address details of anyone they choose, whether they are acting suspiciously or not. Those details remain on a database forever. To date, 119,000 names of political activists have been taken and this is a figure that will skyrocket once the post 7/7 figures are taken into account. At the height of the Iraq war protests, around a million people marched across the country. However, most of these people were taking part in a political protest for the first time and as a one off. Even if we take a figure of half, 500,000 people being politically active in Britain, that means that the government has already registered around a quarter of political activists in the UK.

In truth the number is probably above half because we are not factoring in those already on MI5 'subversive' lists and those listed after the 7/7 bombings, when the powers were used even more broadly.

Concurrently in the US, a new provision in the extended Patriot Act bill would allow Secret Service agents to arrest and jail protesters accused of breaching any security perimeter, even if the President or any other protected official isn't present. The definition of 'free speech zones' can be shifted around loosely and this would open the floodgates for protesters to be grabbed and hauled away in any circumstance at the whim of the Secret Service.

During the 2004 RNC protests, thousands of New Yorkers were arrested en masse in indiscriminate round-ups and taken to Pier 57 (pictured), a condemned, asbestos poisoned old bus depot, where they were imprisoned without charge for up to 24 hours or more.

The existence and development of internment camps are solely intended to be used to round up en masse and imprison 'political dissidents' (anyone who isn't prepared to lick government boots) after a simulated tactical nuke or biological attack on a major US or European city.

'No-Work Lists' in America's Future?

More evidence of how the illegal immigration issue has the capacity to be used as a means to gain more information on law abiding U.S. citizens and place it in federal databases. Government spokespersons deny that this is the intent (surprise, surprise!).

'No-work list' predicted
Employee verification system would affect all workers, privacy experts say

WASHINGTON - Remember the Department of Homeland Security's "no-fly'' lists that erratically flagged 3-year-old children and dozens of men named David Nelson as terrorists seeking to board commercial airplanes?

Well, now privacy experts are warning America to prepare for the "no-work'' list.

As Congress debates immigration reform, experts say a little-discussed aspect of the bill, mandatory employee eligibility verification, is likely to have a colossal impact on the lives of every person in the U.S. labor market -- citizen and foreigner alike.

"Everyone who wants to work will feel this provision,'' said Tim Sparapani, legal counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "People are just beginning to understand the implications of it, and they're big.''

The need for a nationwide system through which employers can verify whether potential workers are citizens or legal residents has been the one element of the pending immigration reform upon which Republicans and Democrats have largely agreed.

But privacy advocates say the rush to mandate widespread eligibility checks is being done with little understanding of the technical snafus that could wrongly put thousands of people out of work each year while leading to rampant discrimination.

And, they warn, the government may also begin to compile new and vast stores of knowledge on every employable man, woman and child.

Department of Homeland Security officials and advocates of the employer verification system say privacy activists are fanning overblown fears.

No personal information is stored or tracked, they maintain, and the program is devised to protect employees from being left jobless while waiting for a green light from the system.

Currently that system is called the Basic Pilot Program, and it is voluntary. About 6,000 participating employers use it annually to electronically check workers' I-9 forms against Social Security and visa info.

Should the system go national, it will have to accommodate a U.S. work force of about 144 million people.

About 57 million people, according to the Department of Labor, take new jobs each year, 13.4 million in Western states alone.

Mark Rotenberg, president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said most Americans wrongly think they will be exempt from verification.

"Generally speaking, people who aren't in the immigrant community assume it won't affect them. But for the system to work, it has to encompass the entire American work force,'' he said.

The bills, he said, "put the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security in the middle of every employment decision in the United States.''

Under the Senate bill, employers would be required to use the system to check every new employee, while the House requires employers to check current workers as well as prospective ones.

"This is many orders of magnitude greater than what currently exists,'' Sparapani said. "As a computer network problem, that's a massive undertaking.''

Chris Bentley, spokesman for the U.S. Department Citizenship and Immigration, which oversees the program, said he is confident the Basic Pilot Program could rapidly expand if required.

"Absolutely,'' he said.

Bentley noted that the system is not a database that needs to be created, but rather an interface that can access information from the Social Security Administration and USCIS records.

Ramping up the system, then, would require money and resources to accommodate the heavy influx of new users.

Currently, when employers enter a workers' Social Security or visa number along with other identifiers such as birth date, the system either confirms an employee's eligibility or issues what is called a "tentative non-confirmation.''

Employers are required to notify workers, who then have 10 days to contest it.

During that time, employers are prohibited from firing, suspending or docking pay. Bentley also noted that employees must already be hired and working before the verification can be done, so that employees are not waiting on the wheels of bureaucracy to turn in order to feed their families.

"No one is in a holding pattern here,'' he said.

But reality does not always conform to law.

According to the UCSIS's own 2002 study, employers do use the pilot system to screen applicants. And when they receive a tentative non-confirmation, "job applicants are unlikely to be notified,'' the study found.

Moreover, 67 percent of employees who contested a non-confirmation reported being suspended, docked pay or having their job training delayed while they sorted out their records.

A 2004 agency report found that erroneous non-confirmations for foreign born workers was "unacceptably high'' and "higher than desirable'' for U.S.-born workers.

The errors, it found, are largely the result of data entry mistakes and accuracy problems with either the Social Security or USCIS databases.

"This creates burdens for employees and employers, increased verification costs for the government and led to unintentional discrimination against foreign-born persons,'' the study found.

These days the USCIS pegs the overall error rate as low as 1.4 percent.

But extrapolated to 54 million workers in a mandatory national system, and that could result in more than 750,000 people each year wrongly told they aren't eligible to work.

Sparapani likened it to DHS's no-fly list, which led to dozens of men named David Nelson being detained at airports because one man named David Nelson apparently was listed as a potential terrorist.

"I've called this system the ‘no-work list,''' Sparapani said.

"Pick your common surname. It's a nightmare for the system. And imagine not being able to work and provide for your family,'' he said.

While the Senate bill provides employees with broader ability to contest and appeal their finding, the House version does not.

But accuracy could have its dangers as well.

The more information the government collects in the name of preserving accuracy and preventing identity fraud, the more information the government has on all of us, experts point out.

"It's the government creating another system of identification'' Rotenberg said.

While DHS officials maintained that no employment data is tracked or stored, Rotenberg and others predicted it someday would be. And without privacy restrictions on how the information is used, they warned, numerous agencies could potentially tap into the data at any time.

Ultimately, though, immigration experts said the employer verification program, even with its faults, is the best way to block illegal immigration.

"There are legitimate concerns in terms of privacy and the rights of individuals to access and correct their records,'' said Deborah Meyers, a senior policy expert at the Migration Policy Institute.

But, she said, "ultimately, from an immigration perspective, only an employer verification system has the potential to reduce illegal immigration to the United States, because ultimately it's the job magnet that draws illegals to the U.S.

"The deterrent has to be the inability to get a job,'' she said.
